We are looking for a PhD student in the area of Entrepreneurial Wellbeing for a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). With an international research team consisting of researchers from the Bern University of Applied Sciences, the University of Zurich, King\'s College London, and Aalto University, we will analyze qualitatively and quantitatively how the mental wellbeing of entrepreneurs is affected by financial pressures and other stressors, and how this affects entrepreneurs\' innovation management decisions and the careers of their employees. The PhD position will be based at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, with the possibility of pursuing a PhD at the University of Zurich.
Ideally, you will have a very good Master\'s degree, preferably in management/economics or psychology, and an interest in entrepreneurship and innovation. We also value enthusiasm for scientific work and perseverance, first experience in the application of empirical research methods, very good oral and written skills in English (must) and German (desirable), and the ability to work conscientiously and self-organized.
